Kelly Mahoney works with a number of action teams and represents EXPO at many tables and organizations throughout the Chippewa Valley. She works in criminal justice reform and also in efforts to address  mental health in her community. Kelly is Peer Support trained and volunteers her time working as a resource for peers in her community. Kelly sits as a member of the Eau Claire Criminal Justice Collaboration Council, and is the co-chair for Jonah’s Chippewa Valley Justice Action Team. Kelly sits on a couple steering committees and advisory boards across the state. She is also a sociology major at UWEC class of 2023. 

She is directly impacted by the system and wants to use her knowledge she has gained through her lived experience to work towards changing our systems. 

She believes in creating just systems through awareness, advocacy, and policy change.
