Title: EXPO Fellow
Location: Madison, WI
Hours: Part-time (with the possibility of full-time)
Compensation: $22 an hour
EXPO (Ex-incarcerated People Organizing) is seeking passionate individuals who have experienced incarceration and are committed to creating a world where accountability starts with hope and recognition. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to thrive and make a positive impact in their community.
Who We Are: EXPO is a dynamic organization led by formerly incarcerated individuals. We work to eliminate discrimination, restore dignity, and promote equity by empowering those directly impacted by the criminal justice system.
About the Role: As an EXPO Fellow, you will play a vital role in advancing EXPO’s mission. You will engage in meaningful work that helps foster community support, drive social change, and inspire others!
Responsibilities: • Advocate for criminal justice reform through community outreach and education. • Provide peer support and mentorship to individuals transitioning from incarceration. • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement programs that promote hope and accountability.
Qualifications: • Personal experience with incarceration. • A strong belief in EXPO’s mission and values. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
