I was born and raised in Milwaukee, raised in a single mother household, and I joined a gang at 13 years old. My first run-in with the judicial system was at 17. Shortly after, I went to jail at 18 and did 3.5 years. Later in life, I was sentenced 75 years. By hard work and prayer, I ended up getting out after serving 28 years. I  was changed in prison within my new walk with God. I am now determined to make a positive change within myself and the community that groomed me.
My past experiences and my organizing ability since the age of 15 really prepared me for my role as an Organizer in EXPO. I have heart, passion, and commitment to change for the community in Milwaukee. I really encompass Milwaukee as whole and want to make this city better for future generations.
